You were my brother and my friend, growing up together we shared so many adventures and experiences, from childhood all the way through the teenage years. Being the same age, we were in the same classes at school, had many of the same friends, and went to many of the same parties and clubs; I have so many fond memories. Yet some of my recollections are so simple: like Friday nights in our late teens ~ us getting home from the pub, just sitting on the settee watching old black & white horror movies till the early hours. Although we did not spend much time together in the latter years, you will always be in my thoughts. Love Julie x

Ian only seemed to spend money on his bike if it made it go faster. His Yamaha TY50/80 had a rear sprocket so worn it had no teeth only humps. He had to keep the chain really tight so it would turn the wheel using friction. If he opened the throttle the chain would just spin on the sprocket.

Ian, Bradley and his cousin and I went to the Hawkstone Park MX GP then to Alton Towers where we all went on the rowing boats and got kicked off and lost out deposits because Ian, Bradley and I were stood up in the boats splashing everyone with the oars swinging them and hitting the water.
